Where one experiences conflict, assault, opposition, there for sure the kingdom of God is functioning effectively, there through his Word Christ is effecting great things. And when the final conflict and attack come, when Satan attacks and terrifies you right before death with pictures and terrors of hell, ah, then hear and believe the Gospel: Christ has relieved Satan of his might, has bound the mighty one. Then with one last weak sigh directed towards Christ you will give the kingdom of darkness one final shove and in eternity never again hear a sound coming from this hellish kingdom.
